James uses his experience and expertise as a chef to serve others as a private chef. He comes to you–providing full service meal preparation and clean up–whether you need help preparing meals for a special diet, a busy lifestyle, or a special event with a few guests or many. James will help you put together a grocery order or even have groceries delivered through our Shipt partnership. He also has a unique ability to work with whatever you have in your pantry, so don’t worry! The simple, flat hourly rate is the same no matter what menu you choose.
What’s Cookin’?
Wondering how it works? You pay a simple, flat fee and we provide a unique experience filled with delicious goodness! Whether we are making ribeye steaks and lobster tails or chicken and dumplings with granny’s rolls, the fee is the same. You purchase the groceries (we will help, of course) and we show up and prepare the meal! Breakfast, lunch, or dinner, we can prepare for immediate enjoyment or meals ahead of time. All meals are prepared on-site in your own kitchen.
Meal Prep
Sometimes we need help–someone to come in and prepare meals for a night or even a week because we can’t do it on our own. We help get the groceries and use your kitchen to prepare the meals!
Dinner Parties
Enjoy having company over to enjoy a home-cooked meal without all of the work in the kitchen? James can prepare a meal for you, your family, and/or your dinner guests.
Special Diets
Staying healthy can mean extra work in the kitchen. James specialized in keto, low-carb, sugar-free, and vegetarian meal prep, and is available for any kind of special dietary meal prep you require.
Special Events
Live action stations are a big hit for parties and marketing events – think omelets, quesadillas, pancakes, and more! We can also help with themed parties, cooking lessons, and more.

PROFESSIONAL CHEF
James K Jones is a Professional Chef with deep roots in Alabama and many years of experience working in, managing, and even owning a restaurant. One of his greatest passions is preparing delicious food, and that journey started early in his beloved Granny’s kitchen. His life took a turn when most of his peers were headed to college–his involvement with drugs landed him in prison. He learned through those painful years that the power of the human spirit coupled with God’s plan for our lives can transform even insurmountable circumstances. Together with his wife, the other half of Team Jones, his desire to help people who are stuck in hopeless situations and his passion for delicious goodness remain central to his work.
